The main target market for hydrotherapy in the equine industry are horse owners, injured horses or competition horses which need to maintain or increase their fitness. At Hooves Equine Hydrotherapy Centre we welcome all horses which have been referred to us by veterinary surgeons, as well as those whose owners wish to treat their horses to a spa and maintain their fitness levels. Due to the nature of this therapy our rehabilitation centre mainly receives a variety of horse from all sporting disciplines including happy hackers and riding school horses, the main types of injuries we deal with are tendon and ligament injuries, however we have received a small number of back and shoulder injuries.

Many vets recommend Hooves Equine Hydrotherapy Centre due to the friendly and passionate atmosphere surrounding the centre. I have been recommended by vets as each horse is treated as an individual and each horse is at my best interest. I will take as long as the horse needs to ensure I can restore the horse back to its pre-injury state or as close as I can. Each client will require a different rehabilitation programme and each of the equines needs will be taken into consideration whilst putting the plan together to ensure we receive the best possible outcome. At our centre we also accommodate for both in and out patients, therefore if the horse requires box rest whilst having on going treatment we can offer a wide range of facilities and stabling for the horse with 24 hour supervision.
